About the author
Perry D. Slocum
The late Perry D. Slocum, founder of Slocum Water Gardens and Perry's Water Gardens, earned an A.B. degree in biology from Cornell University in 1935. He held U.S. patents for several lotuses and hardy waterlilies and was one of the most important breeders of aquatic plants. Waterlilies and Lotuses is his last book.
