Northwest Flower and Garden Show 2012
Last week, a few of us from Timber attended the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle, Washington. It was an amazing time–and my first flower show, so I was very excited to experience the event. We walked the floor numerous times, enjoyed the show gardens, and saw several of our authors speak. This year, several Timber authors presented, including Marty Wingate, Jessi Bloom, Richard Bitner, Lorene Edwards Forkner, Valerie Easton, Matthew Levesque, Andrea Bellamy, Debra Lee Baldwin, and David Deardorff and Kathryn Wadsworth.
Here are some of the best photos I took throughout the show–hope you enjoy them!
Some beautiful white blooms and trees.
A very interesting recycled milk-jug container with a brass saxophone fountain.
This metal spiral spun around like a shiny spiked sun.
A re-used VW bug was the basis for this creative chicken coop.
One of the medal-winning show gardens.
A beautiful print became the focal point of this garden.
This wooden table with be a perfect picnic setting the in a tree-filled forest.
A succulent wall–including both the vertical garden and succulent trend.
Some colorful terrariums. There were so many here at the show!
The theme of the show was “a floral symphony.” This garden captured it perfectly with the inclusion of a wooden harp.
Until next year–I can’t wait to go back!
