Andrew Wilson

Andrew Wilson is a garden and landscape designer with the Wilson McWilliam studio in England. He is founder and director of garden design studies at The London College of Garden Design in Regent's Park. He also lectures internationally and teaches landscape architecture at the post-graduate level.

Andrew’s previous books include Influential Gardeners (2002), The Book of Plans for Small Gardens (2007), and The Book of Garden Plans (2008). In 2009, he contributed to the RHS Encyclopedia of Garden Design. He writes regularly for Gardens Illustrated and is the founding editor of The Garden Design Journal.

Andrew is chair of assessors for the Royal Horticultural Society and has been judging the gardens at the Chelsea flower show for more than 15 years. He is also chair of the Chelsea Gardens Panel which selects entries for the show. He is a former chairman and currently a fellow of the Society of Garden Designers, the UK's professional body for garden design.
